STOCKING STITCH :--- Using two no . 8 needles and pattern double knitting cost on 22 sts work 30 rows knitting the first row and purl in
the second row . continuing in this manner until the 30 rows are completed
you will have now produce a four INS square of stocking stitch as the
tension of double knitting on a size of no .8 needles is 5 1/2 stitches
and 7 1/2 rows to one square inch measured over stocking stitch.
