LAUNDRY - 13 .CANDLE GREASE ,HENNA (Mehandi ) ,ICE -CREAM AND CHOCOLATE

STAIN  -  REMOVAL

STAIN                             :-- CANDLE  GREASE  

CONDITION                   :---SOLID

WHITE    COTTON        :---1.Scrape   off  as  much  as  possible   

                                              with  a  blunt  knife .

                                            2. Place   in  stain  inbetween   a  blotting  paper  , 

                                               and   press   it  with   a  hot  iron  . Sponge  with
                                               bengine .

COLORED  COTTON     :---Same   as  white  cotton  .

SILK   AND   WOOL       :---Same   as  white  cotton  .

SYNTHETIC   FABRICS :---Same   as  white  cotton .

STAIN                             :---HENNA  ( MEHANDI )

CONDITION                    :---Dip  in  warm  milk   for  half  an  hour  , 

                                           then   wash   with  soap .

STAIN                               :---ICE - CREAM  AND  CHOCOLATE   

CONDITION                      :---FRESH

WHITE  COTTON             :---1.Wash   in  cold  water  and  soap .

                                              2.Steep  in  warm  borax  solution .

                                              3.Sponge   with  petrol  or  carbon
                                                 tetrachloride  .

COLORED   COTTON       :---Same   as  white  cotton .

SILK   AND  WOOL           :---1.Wash   with  cold  water  and  soap .

                                               2.Add  a  few  drops of  N H 3  to  a
                                                 cup  of  water .
                                                 Steep  the  stain  in  that  .

SYNTHETIC   FABRICS     :---Same   as  for  silk   or  wool  .

STAIN                                 :---ICE  -  CREAM   AND  CHOCOLATE 

CONDITION                        :---DRY

WHITE    COTTON             :---Treat  with  alternate   application  of  dil . 
                                                KNMO4 

                                                 solution  and  oxalic  acid .

COLORED   COTTON         :---Same  as  white  cotton .

SILK  AND  WOOL              :---Treat  with  a  solution  of  KNMO 4  
                                                 acetic and  H2O2 ,  as   discribed  

                                                 under  fruit  stain  .
