LAUNDRY - 8 .STAIN REMOVAL- Tea ,coffee ,fruit ,wine

STAIN  REMOVAL 

STAIN                            :---Tea  ,  coffee  ,   

CONDITION                  :---FRESH

WHITE   COTTON         :---Pour   boiling   water  through

COLORED   COTTON   :---1.Steep   in   warm   water

       AND                             2.Steep   in    Dil . borax  solution

    LINEN                             ( 1/2  tea  spoon   to   2  cups  of

                                              water  ) 

SILK    AND    WOOL    :--- Same    as   colored   cotton .

SYNTHETIC   FABRICS :--- Steep   in  warm   sodium  perborate    solution .

                                              (1.teaspoon -  1 pint ) 

STAIN                              :--- Tea  ,coffee    
 CONDITION                               :--- DRY                                               

WHITE   COTTON }        :---1.Spread   borax   over  and   pour  boiling     

AND   LINEN         }               water    through  .
                                              2.Steep   in  glycerin     until  stain   is   removed .  
                                                 If   it   still   persists   bleach   with   javelli
COLORED   COTTON       :---1.Same    as  fresh     stain.  
                                               2.Steep  in  warm  water .  Apply    glycerine   
                                                and   rub.
                                                Repeat   till  stain   is  removed  .
SILK   AND   WOOL           :---1.Steep   in   borax    solution .
                                                2.Treat     with   dilute    hydrozen   peroxide .
SYNTHETIC    FABRICS     :---1.Same  as   fresh  stain .

WHITE   COTTON   AND}   :---Soak   in    cold  water   then  wash  in

                                                  Dil . Ammonia  .

COLORED    COTTON         :----Soak  in  cold   water   then  wash  
                                                   in  Dil .  NH3
SILK   AND  WOOL              :---Sponge  with   cold  water  .
SYNTHETIC  FABRICS        :---Wash  in  cold  water  .  
STAIN                                   :----BLOOD
CONDITION                         :----DRY
WHITE   COTTON AND }
 LINEN                            }    :----Steep   in  cold  water  and  sock   until  
                                                    stain  is  removed  .
COLORED    COTTON          :----  Same   as  white  cotton .
SILK    AND  WOOL              :----Same  as  cotton .For    un washable
                                                    fabrics  apply   starch   paste  .Leave
                                                     it  to  dry  . Repeat   treatment ,  if
                                                     not  removed  .                                                                

SYNTHETIC   FABRICS         :----Wash    in  cold    water .
