CONDITION :---FRESH
WHITE COTTON :--- 1.Steep in water .
AND LINEN 2.Wash with soap and water .
3. Steep in dil.alkali or dil.acid .
4.Treat with alchol , NH3 and dil.
acetic acid .
5 .Steep in cold solution of
bleaching powder .(1 oz-2 pints
of water .
6 .Bleach with javelle water .
COLORED COTTON :---1.Steep in water .
2.Wash with soap and water .
3. Steep in dil. alkali or dil . acid .
4 .Treat with alcohol , N H3 and
and dil. acid .
5 . For fast colors :---Bleach with
bleaching powder solution or
quick treatment of javelle
water.
