LAUNDRY - 18 .STAIN REMOVAL -MEDICINE , MILK OR CREAM , MILDEW

STAIN  REMOVAL   -  MEDICINE  , MILK   OR   CREAM  ,  MILDEW 
STAIN                                 :---MEDICINE   
CONDITION                       :---FRESH   AND  DRY 
WHITE  COTTON               :---1.Steep   in  warm  water  .
                                                2.Steep   in  oxalic  acid   and  wash     
                                                   with  borax   solution  .
                                                3.Steep   in  methyl alcohol    or  surgical   

                                                   spirit  .

COLORED  COTTON         :---Same  as  white  cotton  .
SILK   AND  WOOL           :---Same   as  white  cotton  .
SYNTHETIC  FABRICS      :---Same   as   white  cotton  .

STAIN                                 :--- MILK   OR   CREAM   
CONDITION                       :--- FRESH  AND   DRY  
WHITE   COTTON             :--- Sponze   with  benzine  or  carbon  
                                                 tetrachloride , wash .

=============================================================================  STAIN                                   :---MILDEW  (difficult   to  remove  )    
CONDITION                         :---FRESH
WHITE   COTTON                 :--1.Apply   soap  lather  on  the  stain 

                                                    and  cover   the  stain  with   french  chalk 

                                                    and  place  in  the  sun  to  bleach  repeat    

                                                    the   process    till   the   stain   is  almost

                                                    removed .  Then  treat  it  with   salt  and 
                                                    lime  juice ,  wash . 

COLORED  COTTON            :---Same  as  for  white   cotton  
                                                    if  fast  colour .
SILK   AND  WOOL               :---Same    as  colored  cotton  .
SYNTHETIC   FABRICS         :---Same    as  colored  cotton  .

STAIN                                     :--- MILDEW  (difficult   to  remove  )
CONDITION                           :--- DRY
WHITE  COTTON                   :--- Bleach  with   javelle  water  .
COLORED  COTTON             :--- Bleach  with  H 2 O 2 .
SILK  AND  WOOL                 :---Same  as  colored  cotton  .
SYNTHETIC   FABRICS          :---Bleach  with  sodium 
                                                      perborate
