FLY STITCH:--This is an open chain stitch made in the shape "B". working from left to right bring the needle at a point which will be the top of the left side of "B".Hold the thread down with left thumb. Insert needle at the top of the right side of the "B" and bring it out at the base of "B" keeping the working thread under the needle. Draw out the thread and re-insert the needle below the base of B to hold the loop in place.This stitch is used for borders , filling and representing plant forms.
